Some of the combinations are:

3 or more than 3 planets in a house, makes a person confused,the person does not feel happy in motherland and often the person, ends up settling abroad. (Note: Sanyas yoga comes with more or less the same combination with 4 or more planets in 1 house ,and what happens in Sanyas, person does not find peace within himself so moves to spiritualism or leaves ones home)

Ascendant , ascendant lord,moon have combination with 7th,9th,12th,3rd also gives travel.

1st lord in 12th house, makes a person wanting to move to foreign lands. Or 12th lord in 1st , gives some clue about it.

Sun in 12th makes a person have name in foreign lands.

Disturbed 4th,2nd house also indicates settlement away from home.sometimes even 100 miles away, but certainly away from house.

Combination of 12th (foreign places), 3rd (short journeys or frequent journeys), 9th ( long travel) by aspect,placement ,conjunction or sublord connection ,gives a clue about foreign travel and settlement.

More planets in chara rashi also makes a person travel alot.

Rahu ketu combination makes a person travel alot, especially if it happens to be in 6–12 exis or 2–8th axis or 4–10 axis.

Dasha ,antardasha of ketu makes a person sometimes ensures foreign travel of other combinations are also forming in chart.

12th, 3rd, 9th combination if forming in D4 that also, holds true.

7th lord combination also helps in travel as 7th house is the farthest from lagna.So 7th lord/house has connection with 3,9th,12 can indicate foreign travel .

5th lord combination with 3,9,12 gives travel for education or because of children.

2nd house combination with 3,9,12 gives travel for business or money.

Affliction to 4th house in D1 and d4. Especially in D4. If 4th house is not afflicted in D1 and other yogas of foreign settlement are there, that will take you to foreign land and you will live as well but with 4th house affliction especially in D4 will ensure, you will be able to have your own house in foreign land.

10th and 11th house combination also needs to be seen with 3,9,12 as it also gives, travel or settlement because of job or professional front.

At the end, these combinations needs to be carefully analysed and then dasha ,bhukti needs to be seen , coz sometimes the combinations are there but if dasha bhukti is not running , the person will face obstacles.
